Searching by License Plate
License Plate: Enter your license plate without spaces or dashes. This search option may not retrieve tickets if your plate is issued by a state other than Illinois.
License Plate State: If your license plate was not issued by the State of Illinois, please choose the applicable state from the drop down menu.
Plate Type: IMPORTANT - Some examples of plate types include passenger, disabled, environmental, and prevent violence. An environmental plate, for example, is not a passenger plate. If you choose the incorrect plate type, you will not receive information.
Owner's Last Name or Name of Company: If your vehicle is registered to more than one person, enter the last name of the first person as it appears on your vehicle's license plate registration. If your vehicle is registered in the name of a company, enter the company name as it appears on the vehicle's license plate registration.

Searching by Notice Number
Notice Number: Notice numbers appear near the top of notices issued by the City of Chicago Department of Revenue underneath the notice date. Notice numbers are ten digits long and begin with a 5. Multiple tickets in various statuses can be associated to a single notice number. If you have more than one notice number, and have Illinois plates, you can contact the Secretary of State @ 1.800.252.2904 to request your driver's license number be added to all of your license plate registrations. This will help us consolidate your debt in the future. Companies or individuals with large numbers of tickets may experience a significant wait time when using this search option. Searching by Driver's License Number

Driver's License Number: Driver's license numbers issued by the State of Illinois are 12 characters in length beginning with a letter. Enter your driver's license number without dashes or spaces. Only those tickets issued to license plates that include a driver's license number on the plate registration will be retrieved. You may not retrieve information using this search option if your driver's license is issued by a state other than Illinois.

Searching by Vehicle Identification Number (VIN)

VIN: Vehicle identification numbers (VIN's) are 17 alphanumeric characters in length.
Owner's Last Name or Name of Company: If your vehicle is registered to more than one person, enter the last name of the first person as it appears on your vehicle's license plate registration or title. If your vehicle is registered in the name of a company, enter the company name as it appears on the vehicle's license plate registration or title. Please note, tickets issued to your vehicle by license plate will only be retrieved by a VIN search if a VIN number was included in the vehicle registration information sent to the City of Chicago by the state of issuance.

Pay for Booted Vehicles or Driver's License Suspension
Please note, YOU MUST PAY IN PERSON by credit card, cashier's check or money order issued by the United States Postal Service if your vehicle has been booted, seized or your driver's license has been suspended due to unpaid tickets.

Please be advised that the City of Chicago does not request payments, personal information or financial information for parking or automated camera violations in an unsolicited manner through e-mail. Do not utilize any such emails to search for or pay for any parking or automated camera violations.

By using this interface, you agree to pay the amount due toward each ticket number you have selected to pay. Payment of any ticket constitutes final disposition of the violation.
